How fast does a concrete spa heat up compared to a portable plastic spa?

Because concrete absorbs and holds thermal energy beautifully, it is highly efficient once heated. To ensure rapid heating, we connect our spas to dedicated, high-performance heaters or rapid-inverter heat pumps. While a portable plastic tub uses low-wattage electric elements that take up to 24 hours to heat, our systems can raise the water temperature to a deeply therapeutic 38°C in approximately 30 to 60 minutes on demand.
